Quiksilver expects its licensees, agents/vendors and suppliers to act reasonably in all respects and to do their best to eliminate and prevent any abusive, exploitative or illegal conditions at their workplaces.  As we expand our business activities abroad and work with suppliers globally to meet customers’ needs, it is important to preserve our collective commitment to human rights in the workplace.

Quiksilver has a developed a global program tasked with ensuring that all facilities involved in the production and supply of products for Quiksilver and its licensees adhere to the principles set out within the Quiksilver Ethical Standards of Trade (“QUEST”) program.  In this regard, Quiksilver has created a Supplier Workplace Code of Conduct, in line with recognized international standards, conventions and laws. The “Code” requires that all suppliers and their respective factories that are manufacturing product on our behalf comply with these standards and laws.

To maintain the independence and international consistency of the QUEST program, Quiksilver has elected to use a third-party monitoring firm.  Under the QUEST program, all factory assessments are conducted on an unannounced basis. Throughout the assessment process, the auditors educate factory management on how to correct any noncompliance or legal violations that are encountered during the applicable audit.  Quiksilver requires full cooperation from all suppliers and relevant factories, and in the event that a factory assessment yields results in which the supplier/factory is unable to meet these expectations, Quiksilver reserves the right to terminate the relationship with the supplier and respective factory or require that the supplier / factory complete a Corrective Action Plan.

Quiksilver’s Supplier Workplace Code of Conduct can be accessed by clicking on the link below.  Any amendments or revisions to such Code will be posted to our website from time to time.
